There are many different developmental domains that are affected when children use technology, as an educator I wanted to know how it affects the psychosocial development. As the years progress technology will too, meaning I will need to find positive ways to integrate it into my classroom. In order to have a positive effect for technology I must learn how it can be used to enhance children learning. I must also understand how these devices may cause a disconnect from the real world and as an educator I must learn how to prevent that. Technology can also be incorporated in different types of play and encourage children to communicate with one another. I must also be aware of the negative outcomes of too much technological use in society and how I can maximize the use of technology. As society grows so does technology, this means that new technology will be developed. Even though I am young I would say that this society is advanced for me. For the future years I would love there to be more research done on how exactly technology is affected children of all ages, and how we can use technology to our advantage.
