Welcome To A Digital World

Children in today’s society are heavily involved and are wrapped up in technology. Which is why I decided to talk about how digital technology impacts a child's psychosocial development. Slowly but surely we have become a digital age, there is no way that we can avoid all these new technological devices. Children understand how to use technology better than anyone which could be very beneficial as it enhances the relationship between the children as well as others who are using technology. Growing up in this society I have not only experienced using technology for everything myself but I have also seen it being used in everyday situations. For me the use of technology has become everything, it has also made its way into my future career. Wanting to become an Early Childhood Educator in this society has lead me to realize that I need to understand all the uses of technology. It is crucial for me to learn how to positively incorporate technology into my future classroom and how I can get the children to connect with the world as well as each other. I thought it would be interesting to see the negative and positive impacts of digital technology.
